Villas need regular leak inspection because they have far more hidden plumbing than apartments: underground supply lines from the meter, ground and roof tanks, transfer and booster pumps, several heaters, pools and irrigation. Leaks in these systems are rarely visible early, and an annual inspection catches them before they damage slabs, walls and gardens.
A villa is a water system, not a single pipe
DEWA water arrives at a meter on the boundary, runs underground to a ground tank, is pumped to a roof tank, then is boosted to bathrooms and kitchens. Each step has valves, joints and moving parts. A failure anywhere wastes water, and many failures are buried or on the roof where nobody looks.
What an inspection covers
- Meter test with all outlets off, and zone tests.
- Ground and roof tanks, float valves and overflows.
- Pump pressure, cycling and seals.
- Thermal scan of bathrooms, kitchens and floors.
- Heaters: safety valves, elements, tank condition.
- Garden lines and irrigation zones.
